Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about Campus Care 2.0, student access, ACT Healing services, and how to get involved.

Does it cost anything for students to use Campus Care?

Campus Care 2.0 is designed to be offered through partner HBCU campuses and institutions. When a campus adopts the Diaspora VR Sanctuary, enrolled students typically access sessions through that partnership at no individual session fee. Contact us to learn how your campus can bring Campus Care to students.

What is Campus Care 2.0?

Campus Care 2.0 — the Diaspora VR Sanctuary — is a culturally grounded, bio-responsive virtual reality platform that helps HBCU students regulate stress, ease minority stress, and build psychological resilience through immersive, strengths-based wellness experiences.

Who is Campus Care designed for?

Campus Care is built for HBCU students and the campuses that serve them. It also supports clinicians, student-affairs teams, and wellness partners seeking culturally affirming tools that honor students’ lived experiences.

What are the 5 Core Elements™?

The Sanctuary’s therapeutic approach blends Afrocentric healing traditions and natural landscapes into five immersive digital environments — Water, Fire, Earth, Mineral, and Nature — each a pathway from stress toward steadiness and inner balance.

How is Campus Care different from traditional counseling?

Instead of a problem-focused clinical office alone, Campus Care offers an anonymous, strengths-based, interactive VR environment. It complements campus counseling by giving students a calming, culturally welcoming space they can return to whenever they need restorative support.

How can my campus bring Campus Care 2.0?

Reach out through our Contact or Payments pages to request a campus conversation or demo. We partner with institutions to deploy the Diaspora VR Sanctuary and align it with existing student wellness goals.

What services does ACT Healing offer?

ACT Healing — Agents of Change and Transformation — offers therapy and interventions, workshops and trainings, speaking engagements, coaching, and Campus Care 2.0 for campuses. Work is led by Dr. Connor with a focus on intergenerational trauma, resilience, and culturally grounded wellness.

How can I support Campus Care financially?

You can give once or monthly through our secure Payments page, starting at $25. Gifts help fund culturally grounded VR wellness sessions and expand access for HBCU students. Receipts are emailed automatically after checkout.
